Westinghouse LVM-37W1 My personal ripoff.

I paid a fortune for this thing when it came out. Within the first month the Monitor developed a high pitch whine. As the shipping cost was over 100$ and the box was no longer usable I told myself I could live with the whine. Within the first year I'd noticed the right hand section of my screen developing a half moon distortion. Multiple emails to westinghouse went unanswered. Within the first year the monitor now began having problems powering on, or randomly going into stand by mode. This caused massive delays. Again the cost of shipping and lack of support from Westinghouse prevented me from getting this repair performed. I finally took it upon myself to find and diagnose the problem. The internet was awash with the information I needed. The power supply Westinghouse had chosen to install was bad. Along with it being bad Westinghouse had a solution. They discontinued the Monitor. I attempted to purchase parts through Best Buys repair program. They had no parts available.

I know this incident seems delayed. However justice delayed is justice denied. Westinghouse is a bad company and sells a bad product for a high price. (well over 1400$). Stay away, save your money, and invest in a high quality product. Also invest your money in a company that doesn't abandon you after creating a flimsy product.
